SASCO@HongSan is a residential facility dedicated to supporting needy and frail seniors aged 60 and above. Our home provides a secure and nurturing environment for seniors facing financial or family difficulties, ensuring they receive the highest level of care. With 102 beds, including 4 isolation beds, our facility is equipped to cater to the varying needs of our residents.
We take a holistic approach to care, offering a variety of programmes designed to promote the health and well-being of our seniors, including:
- Rehabilitation exercises: Customised exercises to help maintain physical mobility and strength.
- Art therapy: Encouraging creative expression for emotional enrichment.
- Music and dance: Fun, engaging activities that bring energy and joy.
- Outdoor activities: Safe, guided experiences to connect with nature.
- Case management: Help residents to receive the holistic care they require.
- Counselling services: Emotional and psychological support for personal challenges.
- Festive celebrations: Special events to create a joyful and lively community.
Means Testing and Subsidies
To ensure our services are accessible to all, we use Means Testing to determine the level of financial subsidy each resident is eligible for. This process takes into account family income, with seniors from lower-income households receiving higher subsidies under the government’s framework.
Visiting and Operating Hours
We encourage families to visit their loved ones and be part of their care journey. Visits are by appointment to protect the privacy of our residents, and we do not accept walk-in visits from the public.
